Our Work

We build bespoke, complex, statistically robust models to assign probabilities to events occurring in a system (sports or otherwise). We then refine these base probabilities by constructing further models which take the inputs from the probability models in order to find profitable bets, or other entities, which are outside the "norm" and warrant further investigation. This can be as simple as looking for value (factoring in commission to be paid and other external factors) or as complex as finding niche areas of current markets to exploit and creating brand new markets. We can then pass future events through the constructed models and have all points of interest automatically highlighted. We also build time series models to look at data in real time, modifying probabilities and classifications during live markets, to give you up to the second decision making power.

Our platform is data agnostic, taking data from any source and building this into an agglomerated view of the market. The integrity of the data is paramount to building robust models and we pride ourselves on the tools we have produced to mine data before moving into the modelling phase. Our analytics platform then sits on top of this layer of data, constantly scoring new events or markets as they are fed into the databases, assigning probabilities to each entity and then automatically informing you of points of interest.

Some examples of the type of work we have done:
  • Arc de Triomph analysis for Newsweek International
  • Horseracing and Football analysis including bet value analysis
  • An investigation into the long term effects of changes to the SP rules on SP Book sizes
  • An analysis of BetFair price markups measured against SP
  • Individual Trainer, Jockey and Horse form analysis
  • Analysis of spread betting opportunities in English football, including not only straight match value discovery but also more exotic markets such as corners, shots and cards.
